An Elsa doll was given to me earlier, by my client so I could do the Elsa Doll cake. The doll looks so adorable .... when I undressed the doll, I saw a label on its buttock .... "Made in Indonesia".

Conversation between my neighbor and me over the phone for her daughter's birthday cake.

Me : What cake did she want this time?
Neighbor : She want a princess cake ...
Me: Again?... a princess cake? ... don't she get bored with princess cake.... she's already in primary one.
Neighbor : Well, she insisted .... even though I gave other suggestion to her.

I vividly remembered when her daughter was two, her daughter was quite reluctant to cut the cake .....

This doll cake was for a three year old girl. The girl's father had booked the date one month in advance. A few times I have to decline his order due to the date he wanted usually fully booked.

This cake was for a year old girl. Her mum requested a “full bodied” Barbie Doll, so later she can keep this doll. Barbie Doll are suitable for 3 years an above only.

Since, I have experience in doing figurine before; I managed to make the Barbie Doll stand upright while putting on the skirt. Anyway, I really enjoy dressing her up.

Doll Sponge Cake

This doll sponge cake has 3 layers of chocolate sponge cake and 3 layers of Vanilla sponge cake, with fresh cream filling. This cake was for a 5 years old girl and celebrated at her kindergarten. As usual her mother informed me the doll skirting already full of fingerprint marks 10 minutes before the cake been cut and served.

Doll Cake and Basket Weave

The doll and basket weaved cake were for Ms. Diana’s (my neighbor) daughter, Nor. I delivered 2 hours before the event, so that the chocolate cake will be softened by then. It was held at the nursery and most of the invited guest were under 12 years old.

I manage to drop by the nursery and just in time for the celebration. I realized there were new designs on the doll’s skirts, full of small “Finger Prints”.

Vegetarian Butter Cake

This butter cake was baked without egg for my friend's daughter. Her family are vegetarian and she requested me to do a doll cake for her daughter's birthday.

It was a challenged for me esspecially during delivery, traveling from Shah alam to Kajang!, the obstacles such as traffic lights, the highways, and NO sudden brakes! I had to separate the square base and the doll for easy handling.

I had to deliver earlier since my schedule that day was very tight. However, the hotel personnel was very helpful by keeping the cake in the fridge and I taught them how to assemble the cake.

I received a call from my vegetarian friend informing that the birthday function went well and her daughter was actually stunned when she saw the cake. Her daughter didn't expect a doll cake, she anticipated the usual round cake.

Three birthdays at one go…….saves time……

The little mermaid was for four years old, the little princess was for five years old and the chocolate brownies for a twenty something boy/men.

It was a challenged to do the mermaid especially its scales and the little princess the hair-do, anyway, the girls loved it.

Doll and cuppies!

Cupcakes for Hari Raya Gathering
These were another group of photos I misplaced and accidently found it.

The client ordered 200 pieces small cupcakes and the cupcakes were arranged on a small cupcake tree. This small cupcake tree can accommodate around 80 pieces of cupcake.

The cupcake tree was placed on the dessert table and it was the centre of attraction especially the children.

For a one year old baby girl……the gown was the cake. It was a black forest cake, chocolate sponge layered with fresh cream and black cherries.
